हरगिला सारस

 असम राज्य के एक चिड़ियाघर में हरगिला पक्षी के एक जोड़े  की कृत्रिम प्लेटफॉर्म पर सफलतापूर्वक हैचिंग (अंडे सेना ) कराई यह पूरी प्रक्रिया असम राज्य चिड़ियाघर -सह वनस्पति उद्यान और आरण्यक ( एक वन्य जीव संरक्षण संगठन ) द्वारा आयोजित की गयी |



हरगिला (ग्रेट एडजुटेंट स्टार्क ) ,सारस की एक लुप्तप्राय प्रजाति है यह विश्व में स्टार्क की बीस प्रजातियों की सबसे दुर्लभ प्रजातियों में से एक है इसका वैज्ञानिक नाम लेपटॉपटिलोस डूबियस है इनको IUCN की एनडेंजर्ड सूची में डाला गया है

भारत में हरगिला सारस सहित रेजिडेंसियल स्टर्कों  की 8 प्रजातियां पायी जाती है जिनमे से हरगिला सबसे अधिक संकटग्रस्त है किसी समय यह दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया में बहुतायत में पाया जाता था लेकिन अब यह भारत के असम और बिहार एवं कम्बोडिया के प्रेक टोल के कुछ स्थानों तक सीमित रह गया है

इनके संकटग्रस्त होने के का कारण वृक्षों की अंधाधुन कटाई पर्यावास की कमी  आद्रभूमियों का तेजी से घटना  अवैध शिकार है ये  ऊंचाई वाले वृक्षों पर  प्रजनन करतें हैं घोसलें वाले पेड़ों की कटाई  और अवसंरचना निर्माण के परिणाम स्वरुप इन प्रजातियों की प्रजनन प्रक्रिया बाधित  हुई है जिससे इनके अस्तित्व पर  खतरा मंडरा रहा है
यह प्रजनन प्रोजेक्ट   के अंतर्गत कराया गया है।

प्रोजेक्ट आरण्यक 
 इस प्रोजेक्ट के अंतर्गत  जानवरों और पौधों की प्रजातियों, जंगलों, विभिन्न जल निकायों, पहाड़ों से लेकर प्रकृति और उसके संसाधनों की रक्षा करने का प्रयास किया जाता  हैं, जो किसी भी प्रकार के खतरे के अधीन हैं।


The entire process of successfully hatching  of a pair of Hargila birds at an artificial zoo at an Assam state zoo was organized by the Assam State Zoo Botanical Garden and Aranyak (a wildlife conservation organization).
Hargila (Great Adjutant Stark) is an endangered species of stork. It is one of the rarest of twenty species of stark in the world. Its scientific name is Leptopatillos dubius.

There are 8 species of residential stork including Hargila cranes in India, of which Hargila is the most endangered, it was once found in abundance in Southeast Asia but now it is confined to few places of Precoll in Assam and Bihar and Cambodia of India. Has remained

The reason for their endangerment is the indiscriminate harvesting of trees, lack of habitat, rapid occurrence of wetlands, poaching. They breed on high altitude trees, and the breeding of these species has been disrupted as a result of harvesting and infrastructure construction. Survival foot threat

This has been done under the breeding project.

This project seeks to protect nature and its resources from animals and plant species, forests, various water bodies, mountains, which are subject to any kind of danger.
